The Wellspring Mission Team has reserved a 2-day/1-night spot (Monday, June 5th and Tuesday, June 6th) for a team of 6 people to serve at the Midwest Mission Distribution Center (MMDC) south of Springfield, IL.
Details:
- Leave at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, stop for brunch/lunch in Springfield on the way, and arrive ready to work at the center from 12-4pm
- Settle into the dormitory, then enjoy dinner out and a time of fellowship (games, puzzles, etc.) and conversation together.
- Stay the night and work from 8-4pm on Tuesday before heading home.
- The facility has bunk beds (lower bunks in 3 rooms), kitchen facilities, bathrooms/showers, and dining room.
- Wellspring has paid the registration fee and dormitory/materials fees.
- Cost for participants would be: share for gas, 3 meals out, and snacks, light breakfast and lunch food for on-site meals.
- Currently 5 spots are available on a first come basis.
