A favorite parlor game is to try and answer the question: If you had to leave your burning house, what would you grab to take with you? It is a quick assessment of priorities. Of course, we don’t live in constantly burning buildings, but our days are filled with priority decisions. What gets my time? What deserves my attention? What needs my resources the most? The number of requests we get would fill a truck, so the real issue for Christ followers is: How do I make those choices in a faithful way? Our new mini-series, Priorities: What’s Really Important, addresses how we steward our lives to be able to do that.
